Kiss cutting is a die-cutting manufacturing process that produces gaskets on rolls of adhesive liner making them easier to install, particularly in large volumes, such as on a production line.
The new machine built by Italian manufacturer Guidolin enables us to undertake large scale precision production runs using a wide range of rubber materials such as natural, EDPM, neoprene and silicone, along with a selection of sponge and foam sheet materials.
Producing gaskets in this computer-controlled method means complex gaskets with tight tolerances can be precision produced at high-speed without placing stress on the material. Another advantage is the rolled gaskets can be easily and safely transported.
