Graphite gaskets offer high corrosion, pressure and temperature resistance. A soft yet incredibly strong material, its low friction composition creates an effective seal that reduces energy losses and the build-up of heat. The injection of filler materials further adds to the stability and tolerance of gaskets that are widely used for piping, valve, pump and generator applications.
Manufactured from reinforced graphite sheets for excellent corrosion and high-temperature resistance and compressibility.
Reinforced with a tanged steel insert, tanged gaskets provide excellent creep resistance and chemical stability to temperatures of 2500°C.
Laminated with a thin stainless-steel foil for long-term stability on compression and recovery over a wide temperature and high-pressure range.
Pure graphite gaskets are widely used where high temperatures and aggressive substances are used in the process.
Graphite based wire mesh reinforced with polymer coating both sides for sealing resistant to a wide range of chemicals at extreme temperatures and pressures.
Graphite based with polymer coating both sides and suitable for sealing resistance to steam and aggressive chemicals up to 650° C and 120 bar.
Adding an inner eyelet to the graphite gasket improves the overall resistance and life of the seal, particularly in situations with fluctuating pressures.
Graphite gaskets are manufactured at our custom-built facility using a range of precision equipment including CAD design software and CNC and water jet cutting machines. Our gasket service includes custom cutting and prototype design. Graphite and graphite composite materials are soft enough to compensate for small imperfections on the sealing surface making them easier to seal and providing a stronger seal.
All graphite gaskets produced undergo multiple inspections during manufacture and are supplied to recognised national and international standards. We can design and manufacture non-standard gaskets based on customer specifications.
We stock a wide range of graphite gaskets sheet materials from industrial to nuclear grade that is 95% pure carbon. Graphite materials can be inserted or coated with various metal core elements, which improve flexibility, strength and stability for improved performance in extreme environments.
Graphite has a higher tolerance than standard non-asbestos gasket materials, with inserted materials allowing for operation under even higher pressures and temperatures

Our highly experienced technicians can advise you on the best sheet materials and manufacturing processes for a wide range of gasket applications.
Graphite is commonly used in applications where stability over high temperatures and pressure fluctuations is required. Most often these will be extreme conditions where aggressive chemicals or high temperature elements such as steam are being processed.
A form of carbon, Graphite is a soft material with a low coefficient of friction that allows some slip without causing damage as surfaces are brought together. It also resists attack from most corrosive chemicals at high temperatures/pressures.
